i am so excited that spring is here!!
although being in canada and saying that spring IS here in march is kind of risky considering we have got snow in june before.
but i will enjoy it while it lasts!!

beat the heat

It is so stinkin' hot here!
Today it is calling for 37 but it's supposed to feel like 49 with humidity.
I have run out of clean shorts, because well laundry just isn't fun in the summer.
So what's a girl to do?Find an old pair of jeans and chop them!
I just lined up another pair of shorts and cut them at the same spot.
Then rolled them up!
Easy peasy!

Summer is here!
It's very exciting.
For some reason, summer doesn't seem to arrive until kiddos are out of school.
(In Canada this is the first week of holidays for kiddos)
Although I have been done for two months and have two months left
it seems like the break is just starting now.

You may have noticed I don't really do the picture a day, in a mirror outfit posts.
I just find everyday life pictures are more fun.
So here are some get up from this past week.

we went exploring through the fields and looking at all the flood damage. we are walking on water in this picture. it just shows how much debris there is.

This past week Clint and I went out on a spontaneous date. It was great! We went driving around in the hills and headed up to a provincial park. It was fun and the sun set was beautiful!

Hot Dog, I'm excited!!

Hot dog am I ever excited!!
Look what came in the mail... yup yup my TOMS arrived!!
You should have seen the happy dance I had going on when I opened the box!! So excited about them, I seriously do not take them off!!
