business card tutorial

I have another great tutorial for ya today! It is so simple but I really love it.
I have been trying to figure something out business card wise for my shop. My wonderful boyfriend designed me one that I absolutely love, however printing them out would have cost me a pretty penny (something I don't have right now). So I had to think of something else that is creative, cute, and perfect for me. This is what I came up with.

Figure out the detail that you want on your card. I have my shop name at the top then shop address, blog, email and my name. I just made a word document and typed it all out. Then printed it on some card stock. Then I found some thread colours that I love and zig-zagged down the side. Playing with different widths and such. You can do any stitch that you like.

Then to finish it off I took a paper cutter and zipped down the middle and cut them up into individual cards.
Simple,
cute,
&
perfect for me (hopefully you too)!

Also check out these great giveaways here and here!

Blessings,
Amber

Nice idea. It's very inkeeping with your shop to have handmade business cards.

  8. I love this idea. I've thought about doing this once I get my business cards printed; however, I really wanted a double sided business card (craft blog on one side/ cooking blog on the other). I might have to just print a separate card just so i can sew on them! ;)
