Hello lovelies!
I hope that you had an amazing weekend, I know I did.
Friday
After my classes on Friday I went with some friends to the local thrift store, they had never been there! I of course needed to bring them! It was fun and actually ended up being a bag sale day. Woo Hoo! Later on in the day I did some sewing (more to come on that). I stopped for a bit and got together with some girls to watch, You Again.
We ate popcorn and laughed a lot, such fun! You Again is the cheesiest movie but great at the same time, perfect for watching with the girls.
Saturday
Woke up bright and early to head into the city to see my mama. The half way point between where we both live is the city so its the perfect place to meet. Started off my day with Starbucks, then we headed to the mall where they were having a flee market sale. We walked around for so long looking at every little thing. My mom bought a beautiful painting from a dutch artist, she had found another one from the same artist in a local thrift store a little while ago. I would have bought nearly everything but I didn't because I don't have the space nor the money to be able to do so. We went around doing some shopping at different places around the mall then headed to a thrift store and found a few goodies. For lunch I brought my mom to my favorite sushi place, she loved it!
Sunday
*I wore a spring dress which made me so happy because I haven't been able to do that for months* With spring dress on and unshaved legs I headed to church, I haven't been to my church in a few weeks because I have been away for the weekends but I caught the last message of a series on Ruth. It was a really great service. After the service some friends and I headed to the city. Ryan's family was coming out to watch the choir he is in perform so they asked if I could bring him in. We went out for lunch and had a great time catching up with each other. Kristi and I headed back to Prov and i got there right after my Clinty got there! We hung out with some friends, played games, and went for sushi. It was such a great day!
{Bananagrams, such a fun game!}
My weekend was busy but full of fun and blessings. I realized this morning that I didn't take any pictures. Unfortunately my camera has been acting up so I don't really being it with me to much any more. It drives me bonkers because I love taking pictures of EVERYTHING!
I'm linking up at Heather's.
Blessings,
Amber
Sounds like a great weekend! xx
