i love embroidery and needlework!
i love the texture and patterns and the endless ways that it can be shown off.
here are a few of my favorites that i have found over the last little while.

these pillows are absolutely stunning! (and would look great on my bed, a wedding gift perhaps?)

my life this week according to my phone

as i write this post it is almost friday.
earlier today i was thinking about how slow this week has gone by but
i just realized that its almost friday, when did this happen?

this week was the start of my final semester!
i don't know if i should be super excited {which i tell everyone i am} or terrified.
where have the last four years gone?
am i supposed to be all grown up now that i have a degree?
what i do know is that i love starting a new notebook there is just something about it.
am i alone on this?i love this guy!
i'm not really sure if i am able to say that enough.
although you are probably getting sick of it by now.
but i have been told to treasure this time of being engaged.
the 'in between' stage and that is exactly what i am doing!my favorite

enough saidthe smell of a freshly opened bag of coffee beans.
that is what my heaven will smell like, and maybe my grandmas bakingcute bows for hair? yes please!
making it that morning because it just went so well with the outfit...

school has started and summer is coming to an end.

granny square afghan

Good morning friends!

I have been working on a collection of granny squares slowly since school started last fall.
I decided that I wanted to make an afghan so that's what I'm working towards. So far I am loving it. I finished putting a cream ring around each one and laid it out. I'm thinking that I will be needing to make some more granny squares to make it a bigger size. Good thing they are super wast to make and perfect for using up ends of yarn.

what i love - shoe edition

Hello friends!!

Happy middle of the week to ya! I woke up thinking it was Tuesday but was pleasantly surprised that it was Wednesday.

Oh Boy so for this weeks What I love Wednesday I am sharing all about shoes, but not just any kind of shoes, Toms shoes! I have picked out a few of my favorites!!
