Here is a bit about Erika and her adorable shop rouge & whimsy
what is the story behind your shop name?
I have red hair (which I used to hate but now I like) so I wanted to something that related to that. Rouge is French for red (I also love France) but I didn't just want the shop to be "Rouge" so I added the word whimsy which I hope encompasses some of the fun spirit in my items.
what do you love most about creating?
I have a desire to create, to craft and for whatever reason I've always had that whether it's dabbling in sewing, art, or writing. I can't even put it into words.
what drink will you be sipping on the beach this summer?
This may sound terrible, but I've recently come to love beer! Not gross cheap beer but local microbrews. It's almost like a wine thing around here in Seattle-- when you're at a restaurant the server describes a beer like most people would describe a glass of wine... notes of chocolate, berries, etc :)
